Vaughn Velocity XP Pro Senior Goalie Pants
The Vaughn Velocity XP Pro Senior Goalie Pants are engineered for elite-level performance, featuring a narrower, barrel-shaped cut paired with a larger waist opening to deliver both a precise fit and enhanced mobility across a wide range of goaltenders. Built on the same silhouette as Vaughn's SLR pants but cut approximately 1/2" shorter, the XP Pro is designed for goalies who demand professional-grade protection without sacrificing freedom of movement in the crease.
Protection is layered throughout the pant with a segmented high-density foam waist, compatible with both tucked and un-tucked chest protectors, and a new belly and groin zone featuring a combination of dense padding and molded plastic. Extended high-density groin flaps provide longer coverage than Vaughn's standard Velocity and SLR pant lines, keeping weight low while maximizing protection. The outer thighs are shielded by NHL-style one-piece wrap thigh guards molded to hug tightly around the leg for complete, gap-free coverage.
Fit and comfort are addressed through a 5" (12.7 cm) high-stretch crotch gusset that moves with the goalie's butterfly and shuffling mechanics. A breathable SportMesh lining wicks moisture and provides a quick-drying, plush feel against base layers, while extended SportMesh inner thigh and 5-hole padding adds protection without unnecessary bulk.
