The Sherwood CODE Photon 1 Senior Shin Guards are built for players who prioritize speed and mobility without sacrificing protection. Featherlite X construction uses lightweight protective materials to minimize bulk while maintaining reliable impact resistance across a full game, making these guards well-suited for fast, physical play.
Kneecap protection is handled by Nitrex® impact foam, engineered to absorb and disperse direct impacts while keeping overall weight low. The tapered, low-profile design follows the natural contour of the leg, allowing unrestricted movement and a streamlined fit under hockey pants.
Fit and retention are managed by the 360 Wrap strapping system, which wraps the leg like a harness to prevent shifting during play. CIP (Customizable Impact Protection) lets players fine-tune coverage by adjusting the thigh guard and removable liner for a personalized fit. High-wear zones are reinforced with an integrated Abrasion Guard for extended durability over a full season.
Microban® antimicrobial technology is built into the liner to reduce odor-causing bacteria, helping the guards stay fresher throughout repeated use.
