The CCM Tacks XR Pro Junior Hockey Shoulder Pads are built for competitive junior players who demand elite-level protection without sacrificing mobility. The anatomical shield design (ASD) combines compress-molded Zotefoam side panels with a decoupled back panel, delivering maximum coverage across the torso, sternum, and spine while allowing a full range of motion on every shift.
Shoulder and clavicle protection is reinforced with Flexmotion dual-core HD foam caps featuring integrated D30 material at the shoulders, AC joints, and clavicle. D30 technology absorbs and disperses impact energy on contact, offering pro-level protection in a low-profile cap construction that moves naturally with the player. The floating sternum and hybrid spine shield also incorporate D30 for added protection in high-impact zones.
Ventilation is a core focus throughout the pad. Front and back air channels run through the Zotefoam liner — a closed-cell foam that repels sweat — while large ventilation ports in the bicep guards and an Aer-Tec suspension system work together to maximize airflow and keep players cool. The bicep guards feature HD molded foam and a newly designed assembly that integrates seamlessly with the shoulder cap for unrestricted arm movement.
Fit is fully customizable via Adapfit length-adjustable torso straps, and the removable, adjustable front pad offers additional lower torso coverage with a close-to-the-body feel.
