CCM Tacks XR Pro Ice Hockey Shin Guards — Senior
The CCM Tacks XR Pro Senior Shin Guards are engineered for players who block shots and compete in physical, high-impact situations. Built around a max-coverage FZN shield design, the new injection-moulded shin cap is fused with an inner plastic sling to deliver reinforced protection on both sides of the leg, while D3O® foam reinforcement at the base of the shin cap absorbs and redirects the hardest impacts.
At the knee, an injected plastic kneecap paired with a D3O® Zero comfort donut works to support the joint and distribute impact energy away from the point of contact. The self-conforming calf guard — combining an injected plastic shell, high-density foam dampener, and D3O® technology — automatically adapts to the player's anatomy for a secure, personalized fit without requiring manual adjustment.
Fit and retention are handled by a length-adjustable dual calf strap system that accommodates a wide range of calf sizes, complemented by a padded Hyper X lock strap that keeps the pad firmly in position throughout play. A removable liner with a D3O® donut and a removable tongue feature allow players to customize the fit based on their skate tongue preference.
