CCM Tacks XR Pro Junior Ice Hockey Shin Guards
The CCM Tacks XR Pro Junior Shin Guards are built for competitive junior players who demand elite-level protection without sacrificing mobility. Engineered with a Max Coverage FZN Shield design, the injection molded shin cap is fused with an inner plastic sling to deliver reinforced coverage on both sides of the leg. D30 foam integration throughout the pad self-adapts to the player's anatomy, providing impact energy distribution exactly where it's needed most.
Knee protection centers on an injection molded kneecap paired with a D30 Zero comfort donut, designed to support the joint and redirect impact forces away from it. A compress-molded EVA foam Flexmotion thigh guard adds an additional layer of coverage above the knee and is both removable and adjustable to suit individual preferences. The calf is secured by a self-conforming calf guard with an injected plastic insert and HD foam dampener enhanced with D30 for full-perimeter protection.
The pro-strength shin cap includes a tape-lock landing zone and D30 foam reinforcement at the base for maximum impact resistance in the lower leg. An extra-durable interior liner reduces friction and wear inside the pad, while the removable bottom liner allows players to customize fit based on whether they prefer their skate tongue inside or outside the shin guard.
A length-adjustable dual calf strap accommodates a wide range of calf sizes, and the padded Hyper X lock strap holds the shin guard firmly in place throughout the game. These shin guards carry a 90-day manufacturer warranty.
